Cooler Master V6 GT CPU Cooler Review

Cooler Master are a brand that never fail to impress us here at eTeknix. They continue to release top quality products and expand into new markets which is exactly what fans and reviewers alike all enjoy seeing. Today sees us looking at a product from one of their more popular product categories, a CPU cooler. There is plenty of choice when it comes to choosing a Cooler Master CPU cooler and even more when we look at the complete market for processor coolers.

The V6GT which we are looking it at is one of the most recent Cooler Master CPU coolers. This 200+ watt capable beast features dual 120mm PWM fans in push-pull configuration and six heatpipes in a “double V array”. The V6GT’s performance looks promising. The densely packed fins allow the true potential of 2 fans in push-pull to be unleashed, coupled with asymmetric aluminium fins at a 5 degree tilt to lower airflow resistance and the performance looks even more promising than first anticipated.

The V6GT from Cooler Master better offer good performance to be competitive in this sink or swim market.

Features:

  • 6 heatpipes and pure copper base
  • Perfect for case-modders
  • Highly dense and tilted aluminium fins precisely engineered for impeccable cooling performance
  • Pioneering “Double-V” heatpipe deployment compresses airflow to increase efficiency under mid to high air pressure
  • Innovative “Tool-Free” fan boxes for easy installation of fans
  • Accelerating twin high-seed PWM fans deliver invincible cooling capability
  • Engine oil cap controls the LED strip with colour changing function
