Cooler Master V750 Gold V2 White Edition PSU Review

Efficiency
Despite officially being 80-Plus Gold efficiency rated, as one of the many aspects of our testing process, we check to see just how accurate that certification is. Achieving over 90% across all of our tests (and peaking at 92.4%) the Cooler Master V750 Gold V2 White Edition performs exceptionally well in its remit.
Almost tip-toeing on Platinum territory, while it doesn’t quite make it in that regard, what we can say for certain is that this is, without a doubt, an exceptionally good and high-end ‘Gold’ rating.
PFC (Power Factor Correction)
Taking the results as a whole, the PFC isn’t particularly great. This would by proxy indicate that there is quite a significant bit of phase between the current and voltage and, although not at a concerning level, these results are, if we’re being honest, a little lower than we would usually expect to see from most mainstream PSU designs.
Voltage Regulation
The above PFC results have possibly been reflected in the voltage regulation which, although providing some highly-consistent results (which is good) the average deviancy is a little higher than the ‘zero’ level it should be aiming for. We should, of course, note that while the results are a little higher than usual, there is, again, absolutely nothing to be concerned about here.
