Packaging
The V8 comes in a square black box with a shadowed picture of the cooler taking up most of the front. The slogan and processor support is also included on the front.
The side shows a smaller version of the cooler and slogan that we saw on the front.
The other side shows exactly the same but also lists three of the main awards that this cooler has obtained.
The top of the box has the V8 logo and slogan once again and also includes the Cooler Master website address.
The back is where we find a lot more information including the main features and specifications. There are also some images of the main features for easier identification.
The bundle of accessories includes everything need for multiple socket installation including AMD and Intel brackets, installation instructions, warranty guide, thermal compound and the relevant fixtures and fittings.
Not a fan of these large coolers, much prefair the low profile coolers such as the Vortex Plus, I have a Scythe low cooler at the moment, pretty quite, so if I was changing it then the Vortex woud suit. And that is a good price from Scan.
The v8 has always been considered overpriced lately, but price drops lately may actually make it decent value.
Damn, that is one nice looking engine…I mean cooler. Nice pics. Like to list of Pros versus Cons.

The V8 has been here for years… This review wants to tell everyone that it's still one of the greatest coolers out there.
