Results (Load Temperature)
Load temperature tests have a slightly different methodology, but the same vigorous testing conditions are applied, with regards to the same components being used including the same brand and amount of thermal paste and the ambient room temperature is still constantly measured to give the fairest results.
Once we received our idle temperature results, we ran Prime 95 in a simple blend test to enable 100% usage across all cores. Once the application was running, we left it for 15 minutes whilst still checking ambient room temperature. Once the 15 minute testing phase had passed, we measured the temperature at 57 degrees.
Once again, the Hyper 212 Plus came out with the lowest temperature, giving the same standings as we saw in the idle tests. Once again we can only assume that the larger fan gives the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 a slight edge over the competition, though we do think that the increased size on the heatsink also aids in better cooling performance.
