Cooler Master have decided to upgrade their popular coolers Hyper 212 and Hyper TX3 to EVO edition CPU coolers both with an improved tower fin design, heat pipe layout, upgraded fans, and fan brackets, all of which provides an even more extreme value for end-users of all types, both models come with a PWM fan with quick snap brackets (extra supplied to add a 2nd fan).
The Hyper 212 EVO now features four Cooler Master Continuous Direct Contact (CDC) heat pipes that are tightly packed into a flat array on the CPU Cooler base, it acts as a virtual vapor chamber that dissipates a large amount of heat, the aluminum fin structure has been optimized to provide the perfect performance balance between high and low speed fan operations.
The Hyper 212 EVO supports sockets Intel LGA 1366/1156/1155/775 and AMD FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2, the coolers dimensions are 120mm x 80mm x 159mm (with one fan fitted), the fitted fan is 600 – 2000 RPM with a 24.9 – 82.9 CFM airflow and a noise level of 9 – 36 dBA.
The Hyper TX3 EVO has had its direct contact heat pipe performance improved and a higher quality 92mm PWM fan has been fitted and has a wider range of socket support.
The TX3 EVO supports Intel LGA 1366/1156/1155/775 and AMD FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2 sockets, its dimensions are listed as 90mm x 79mm x 136mm, the coolers PWM fan is a 92mm model which runs at 800 – 2800 RPM with airflow of 15.7 – 54.8 CFM and a noise level of 17 – 35 dBA
