Setting up either of the Nepton coolers is pretty much the same, both have two fans to install and both come with the same pump and mounting kit. Pop the fitting screws through the appropriate holes for your motherboard and attach the retention clips, this takes about 2 minutes to complete.
Pop the completed back plate onto your motherboard, this take virtually no time at all.
Push the four plastic spacers over the screws on the other side, only takes a few seconds to do and this will also help hold the backplate in place.
Screw the AMD or Intel brackets to the pump, a little tricky to line up, but it’s not exactly rocket science.
Then it is simply a case of applying your thermal paste (don’t forget to remove the peel off sticker) and line it up over the four screws. Four thumb screws then go in place to hold the whole thing together, total time for installation was 10 minutes and this includes the time it took to mount the fans.
Once powered up you can see that LED back light I was talking about, it’s fairly bright and adds a nice extra touch of style to the pump.
