Coolit Domino A.L.C. CPU Cooler Review

Measuring temperatures is all about being consistent; therefore we make sure that the test is kept completely fair so that none of the coolers are at a disadvantage. We measure the CPU temperature using HWMonitor after a 10 minute idle period. We then measure the CPU temperature using HWMonitor after a 10 minute load period using Prime95 with the small FFTs setting.
The room temperature was kept at a constant 21 degrees C for these tests.
These results make it look as though the Coolit Domino has the upper hand at this lowest fan speed setting. Unfortunately for the Coolit, it’s lowest fan speed is over 1100 rpm, and as such this is a lot faster than the Antec’s ~650 rpm. Of course with this kind of difference in fan speed we can expect that the Coolit is going to be a lot louder, although it is giving relatively good temperature readings.
