Building computers on a budget can be somewhat tricky at times, especially when you have to pay a lot for a chassis that doesn’t really have any function besides storage. Granted, there are reasons for the higher prices, but it is also nice to see some more budget oriented cases like the newly released Cooltek X4 midi-tower.
The X4 carries a more old-school design and has a top-rear PSU area, two external drive bays and five internal. It has also been sound proofed by lining the side panels and top cover with sound absorbing foam, something rarely found in budget cases. Front IO is covered with one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0 and HD Audio ports.
It’s however not a case designed for high-end gaming PCs as it only has 1 fan option at the rear, and that is only for an 80mm fan. It would however be a nice and silent case for an office PC.
Specifications
The Cooltek X4 should be available now for a low MSRP of just 32.99 including 19% VAT.
