Cooltek has recently revealed two fantastic midi towers as part of its NC-series premium lineup. We’re talking about the NC-01 and NC-02 cases, both of which feature eye-catching aluminum decorative elements, as well as “tempered glass” or standard side panels. The NC-01 has a MESH front with two aluminum rails on its sides, as well as a 5.25-inch bay that can accommodate an optical drive. We should also mention the silver HiFi-style feet, the two USB 2.0 ports, the USB 3.0 port, the HD audio connectors, and the two channel fan control, all of which are located at the top of the front panel.
As for the NC-02 model, it incorporates two 5.25 inch drive bays, which can be used to install an extra fan control, card readers, or optical drives. Both cases impress with a thermal two-zone design on the inside, which allows the double HDD cage and power supply to be hidden under a steel cover. Those of you who are worried about cable management will be glad to know that these cases feature several openings in the mainboard and cover. The NC-series cases are large enough for power supplies with a maximum depth of 220 mm, while the ventilation options include a pre-installed 120 mm fan, and either two 120 or 140 mm fans installed by the user behind the front.
