Core i7 4770K Box Art Revealed

Intel’s Core i series of processors have always come in relatively plain boxes. Typically they are blue with the mainly-yellow processor schematic and then the type of processor and its respective logo – that is Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7. Normally the exact model, e.g i3 2120, is not listed on the box only the type of Core processor it is.

However, for the first time in who knows how long, some have suggested a decade and others have said it’s the first time ever, Intel’s Core i series of Haswell processors will come in a box that uses a collage of pictures on the box. Plus don’t forget the new slogan “unlock the power within” which appears to have replaced the current “unlocked and unleashed” and “visibly smart performance with a boost” marketing slogans.

In the grand scheme of things this change of design doesn’t really mean that much for consumers, but it shows things at Intel are dynamic and changing and it is always nice to see some change.

What are your thoughts on the new box art?
