Corsair 2500 Series Dual Chamber mATX Case Review

When it comes to high-end PC hardware, few brands can rival the range on offer from Corsair. Their peripherals, coolers, power supplies, fans, RGB technology and so much more are regarded as the best and often are the most popular in their respective classes. The same is true of their PC cases, so I’m pretty excited to have the latest Corsair 2500 PC case in the office today. It offers up some pretty unique customisation options, starting with a dual-chamber micro-ATX design, which allows you to swap out the exterior panels to suit your taste. Corsair will have multiple wood panel options to pick from, RapidRoute RetroFit Kit cable routing mods, Vertical GPU mounting kits, and even a glass conversion kit to change the 2500D into the more premium 2500X variant.

There are three versions of this case hitting the market, the base model is the 2500D Airflow, which comes with a mesh front panel for, you guessed it, higher airflow. The next is the 2500X, which comes with tempered glass on the front and side panels, and finally, the 2500X RGB which is the same as the 2500X but comes with some premium Corsair ARGB iCUE LINK RX120 fans pre-installed, as well as the iCUE LINK System Hub.

Features

  • Glass-heavy option (2500X): The 2500X’s head-turning design showcases your small-form-factor
build behind two stunning tempered glass panels, perfect for showing off the work of art that is your
    PC.
  • Dual Chamber Design: Promotes effective cooling and a cleaner, more organized build with one
chamber equipped with a multitude of fan and radiator mounts, and the other providing abundant
room for cable routing, drive storage, and PSU installation.
  • Compatible with Reverse Connection Motherboards: Validated for use with new ASUS BTF and
MSI Project Zero motherboards featuring connections on the back of the board, so your view isn’t
    spoiled by plugged-in cables.
  • Wide Cooling Flexibility: Customize your cooling setup with room for plenty of fans and versatile
radiator mounting options for up to 360mm in the front (2500D Airflow Only), roof, bottom, and side.
  • A Picture-Perfect PC: By keeping cables out of the way in the second chamber, it’s exceedingly
simple to build a stunning PC worthy of the show floor.
  • A World of Personalization: Customize your build with a range of optional accessories such as
alternative material panels, a vertical GPU mount, and more for a truly unique setup.
  • Take the Hassle out of Building: Designed with a plethora of features for easy buildability, such as a
simple pop-off front panel, fabric pull tabs for the top panel, one-twist Quikturn® screws, durable yet flexible doubleshot grommets, and external cutouts for cable management.
  • Expansive Storage Options: Tool-free drive mounts for installing up to 2x 3.5in and 2x 2.5in storage
drives to accommodate extensive game and media libraries.
  • Modern Front Panel I/O: A high-speed USB 3.2 Gen-2 Type-C port, 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports,
and a 3.5mm combo audio jack put your devices in easy reach.
  • Made for iCUE LINK: Cut down on cable clutter when you build with CORSAIR iCUE LINK smart
components (sold separately), with built-in iCUE LINK cable hooks to make it even easier to create
    your dream system.
  • Premium Build & Two-Year Warranty: The 2500 Series is built with durable 3mm-thick steel panels
and backed by a two-year warranty for your peace of mind.
