Corsair 350D M-ATX Chassis Review

While I had to opt for our M-ITX board, it’s still easy to see how this chassis will support M-ATX and since I already had to cut down on size I wasn’t about to cut down on features. I’ve still gone for our i5 setup with the Antec 920 Kuhler with 2 x 120mm fans in a push/pull configuration and this should help keep the system super cool. It’s a bit on the bulky side for a chassis this size, but the 350D handles the chunky radiator with ease. Even with the big Antec cooler in place there is still room for a 240mm radiator and fans in the top as well as the front of the chassis, good news for those wishing to install a custom loop cooling system.

A selection of BitFenix alchemy cables has given the build a clean and uniform look, but I have no doubt that had I just used the standard PSU cable that airflow would have still been unobstructed thanks to the extensive cable routing options.

The PSU is inverted, taking full advantage of the bottom air intake and there is plenty of breathing room for our GTX 560 Ti graphics card, so much so that I see no reason why this wouldn’t make a great chassis for an SLI/Crossfire setup.

The front intake fan has loads of room to breath and is perfectly placed to drive air directly towards out graphics card and CPU cooler, the small form factors means it doesn’t take a lot to get plenty of airflow throughout the chassis.

With the side panel back in place its easy to see the importance of cable management on a build like this and the end result looks stunning.
