Corsair has today annouced the retail availability of the Special Edition Arctic White Low Profile Vengeance DDR3 memory kits. The kits will be using 1.35v which is a lot lower than the standard DDR3 voltages of 1.5/1.6 and therefore Corsair is marketing these as ideal for eco-systems, low energy systems, passively cooled systems and systems which run low voltage applications. The modules are rigorously tested as you might as expect from Corsair and are guaranteed to operate at 1600MHz with 9-9-9-9-24 timings.
The memory is based on the new low profile vengeance design which is 1.03″ or 26.25mm in height which allows it to fit under the largest CPU coolers on the market and not obstruct any other components of a system such as water cooling pipes or units.
Director of Memory products at Corsair, Giovanni Sena, had this to say about the new release:
“Vengeance DDR3 memory is the premier choice for system builders who want dependable, overclockable DRAM at a price that allows their budget to go further, our latest offering, the Special Edition Arctic White Vengeance LP, gives builders, system integrators, and gaming enthusiasts the ability to assemble low-voltage systems with an appealing, stylish new look.”
