Corsair has announced the addition of the GLAIVE RGB gaming mouse to their peripheral lineup, equipped with a custom PMW3367 gaming grade optical sensor that can be set up from 100 to 16,000 DPI. Inside the GLAIVE RGB is 8MB of onboard memory. This allows users to store up to five DPI/profile settings, RGB lighting presets and re-programmed button settings. The five DPI settings have their own set of LED lighting along the left side. This makes it is easy to see which level of the five settings it is currently set at.
The Corsair GLAIVE RGB also features an interchangeable thumb grip, which gives users the ability to have a proper grip as they see fit. Since it is designed with gamers in mind, the GLAIVE RGB is also equipped with Japanese Omron switches rated for up to 50M clicks so users can be sure of button input consistency and longevity.
Users also have the option of tuning the sensor further via the Corsair Utility Engine. This software lets the performance be tailored depending on the surface used. This software also allows users to customize the three-zone RGB lighting with onboard presets. You can also download from hundreds of user-made lighting schemes. The Corsair GLAIVE RGB is available for $69.99 USD in North America or £76.99 in the UK via Amazon.com.
