With the side panels removed we can really see what the 200R has to offer. The first thing I noticed was the extra wide cut-out on the back panel, this will help with installing our CPU cooler and will really speed up the installation process, it also looks big enough to overlap the edge of our motherboard with should allow for some extra cable routing too. There are also 3 cable routing cutouts on the panel and while they aren’t fitted with rubber grommets, the chassis doesn’t feature a window, so its more to help keep the flow of air clear, than to be an aesthetic feature.
In the back of the chassis we can better see the 120mm exhaust fan, while its not the best quality fan in the world, its better than most and more than up to the job. Below that we see that each of the 7 expansion slot covers comes fitted with quick release thumb screws, which will allow for quick and easy installation of our components.
The three 5.25″ bays come with a pull back strip of metal that acts as a quick release clip for your drives, below that we have an open space that will help improve airflow from the 120mm intake fan. Further down we have four slot in 2.5″ hard drive bays as well as four more 3.5″ hard drive bays, each fitted with a quick release mechanism.
There is plenty of room for cable management around the back, especially for a chassis of this size, although should you run into space troubles there will be extra room available behind the hard drive racks on the left hand side.
