Corsair has another new product release and as you might have guessed, it has RGB LED. To be fair to Corsair, they just released a tempered glass SPEC-04 case and that didn’t have RGB LEDs. So they need to balance it with another product that has, even if this product is not really necessary. The new Dominator Airflow Platinum RGB is a dual fan cooler which sits on top of Dominator Platinum DDR4 modules.
Two 50mm PWM fans deliver 10.6 CFM at 3,700 RPM. Each fan also uses advanced ball bearings for longer life and durability than sleeve bearing. Corsair also claims it should operate more quietly than sleeve bearing fans. Topping out at 3,700 RPM, Corsair claims it only registers 25.6dBA MAX.
Just in case you need it for just the looks however then you are in luck. As it is made of steel and aluminium. Plus it the RGB LED fans look nice if you are into that. There is Corsair Link integration so users can personalize and control its functions. That includes both the fan performance and the RGB LED lighting.
Installation is just a matter of snapping it into place on top of the modules. No screws and no hardware required.
The Dominator Airflow Platinum RGB Fan is available now from Corsair directly for £ 64.99 GBP with VAT.
