It’s of little surprise that one of the fastest (at stock XMP profile) memory kits we’ve ever tested is… THE FASTEST! I know right, it’s hardly a big revelation. Right out of the box, 3600 MHz is pretty swift for any PC build and typically above what most people even buy. That being said, the results are pretty clear that this is a fast memory kit. Of course, that’s thanks in no small part to the quality components used, the thick heatsinks and the tighter timings too.
I’m pretty sure this memory kit will beat the clocks I got, but I tend to stick to consumer-friendly overclocking approaches. A few simple tweaks to multipliers and voltages was all that is needed to hit a very respectable 4000 MHz, with only the Patriot Viper matching that speed on our bench. However, the Viper is eating the dust of the Corsair Dominator Platinum which again just pulls far ahead thanks to the improved timings. Again, the fastest and best engineered kit we’ve tested comes in first, that’s what we like to see.
