Corsair H100i Liquid CPU Cooler Review

For clarification testing was done with the fans in a push configuration. The default fan and pump profiles were used. You could get extra performance by having a more aggressive fan and pump profile and by adding an extra set of fans but ultimately what we are showing you is the out-of-the-box performance level which has been tuned for the best balance between noise, longevity and performance.
I am quite surprised to see such a significant gap between the H100i and our best performing air coolers. At stock speeds there is very little heat output, but the Corsair H100i is still a very powerful contender, 7 degrees better than its closest rival from our tests.
Overclocking sees the Corsair H100i extend its lead quite aggressively. A fantastic 10 degrees better than our best air cooler, and 11 degrees better than the Dark Rock Pro 2 which costs £60 (not that far off the Corsair H100i’s price) and is one of the best air coolers on the market. Corsair have clearly produced a product that is vastly better than any air cooler, it is in effect the best you can get without going to a custom water cooling loop – a highly expensive venture.
