Corsair H100i RGB Platinum CPU Cooler Review

Performance
In the past, our testing has always found that Corsair AIO coolers provide excellent test results. In this case, the H100i RGB Platinum is no exception. Across all of our testing, it never finds itself outside of the top 5 which, based on overall performance, makes this one of the best coolers we have reviewed to date.
Stock Temperatures
In terms of stock temperatures, while this might appear to be 2nd on our list, a closer look at the results would see that by a quirk of getting very similar results to another cooler, this is actually the best cooler we have reviewed. At least in terms of overall temperature scores. With idle at 25c, gaming at 30c and load temperatures at 50c, this is clearly hugely impressive!
Overclocked Temperatures
The overclocking results for the H100i RGB Platinum are simply just exceptionally impressive. When you remember that this is only a 240mm cooler, it’s remarkable that it beats so many of it’s larger ‘high-performance’ rivals.
Stock Acoustics
The noise levels for this cooler are simply amazing. Corsair says on the box that the fans are designed for minimal noise output and they were not kidding. To say it’s silent would be an exaggeration, but honestly, between the other ambient noises of a standard PC system, I’m not convinced these fans added anything to it!
Overclocked Acoustics
If you might be thinking that overclocking is the weak link here, you’d be wrong. Yes, the noise levels do get a little louder. We are, however, talking 1 singular dBA. Yes, just one! If noise levels are a high-priority in your system build, then this Corsair cooler simply has to be in your consideration!
