Corsair H150i Pro RGB 360mm AIO Cooler Review

Performance

Temperatures

This is a big custom loop cooler, with three powerful fans pushing a lot of air, and a high-quality pump. Of course, that quickly translates to absolutely incredible performance, rocking temperatures that are almost as low as the hybrid custom loop Eisbaer from Alphacool at full load! It also delivered our lowest idle temperatures to date.

Overclocking didn’t slow the H150i down much either, and the sheer size of the cooler and its TDP capabilities make light work of our CPU. Again, almost as cool as the Aisbaer at full load, which is just phenomenal and we can’t think of any CPU that wouldn’t benefit here.

Acoustics

This cooler was basically slacking off at stock loads, the pump didn’t have to ramp up, the fans sat at a consistant level, and it was as quiet as you could hope. It stuck at just 34 dBa throughout the entire test and the CPU just couldn’t pump enough head into the liquid to bother it; of course, that’s a good thing.

Buying an H150i for a stock CPU is bonkers, so obviously we pushed to 5 GHz. However, even once overclocked it barely made a sound, pushing up to 36 dBa consistently. Push those fans, and they’ll ramp well into the 40 dBa range, but short of tournament overclocking for extreme benchmarks, there’s no point in doing so.
