Corsair H150i Pro RGB 360mm AIO Cooler Review

Final Thoughts

Pricing

Obviously, this isn’t going to be a cheap cooler, but with an MSRP of $159.99, I think it’s pretty fantastic value for money. The performance is obviously superb and short of investing in a custom loop, you’re not going to beat it in a hurry. There’s a 280mm model, the H115i Pro, which will be available for just $139.99.

Overview

Corsair set out to make one of their best coolers yet, and make no mistake, they’ve certainly achieved that. Personally, I think there are a few minor improvements that could be made, but absolutely every one of them is aesthetic, and would come at a cost to the end consumer. Of course, I still expect Corsair to make the model I envision sooner or later. This is an RGB cooler, yet it’s quite limited in that it’s just the pump. With the Corsair LL120 fans, you could really kick things into high gear visually, but I bet it wouldn’t be cheap.

Performance

Adding more RGB is subjective, that’s just my two cents. However, when it comes down to all-out performance, the Corsair H150i blows everything else away. The only cooler we have tested on our updated rig that performed better is the Alphacool Eisbaer. Keeping in mind that the Eisbaer is basically a custom loop configuration and costs more money. However, that still makes Corsair’s the best AIO, ready to rock, cooler that we’ve ever tested.

Design

The new pump design is stunning and much more compact and sleek looking than their previous models. It’s also much quieter, as are the fans, and that’s awesome. The thinner and more flexible tubing looks good, but it’s also a lot more manageable than those chunky hoses of their earlier AIO coolers. Of course, not every chassis can support a 360mm AIO, but for those that can, it’s sure to look great.

Pros

  • Class-leading performance
  • Extremely quiet pump and fans
  • High TDP capability
  • Stylish aesthetics
  • RGB pump
  • Low profile pump design
  • Easy to install

Cons

  • None

Neutral

  • A little more RGB on the “RGB” model would have been nice, but it’s no deal breaker
