CORSAIR has announced its new Platform:6 modular computer desk offering a versatile desktop option for gamers, creators and professionals with varied configurations and modular accessories.
The Platform:6 is a modular computer desk that combines premium materials, a high degree of customization and several quality-of-life features to improve comfort and day-to-day work. This desk uses a modular rail system with a universal standard aluminium T-channel crossbar, side rains and top-mounted rail built-in to offer compatibility with hunters of aftermarket attachments and accessories. Users can also expand storage with the Elgato top frame expansion which includes a pegboard for mounting your gear and accessories as well as adapters to mount Flex-Arm and Multi-mount products to the rail system.
The desktop comes in several material options with dark walnut-stained rubberwood or a sturdy black laminate. It measures 6 feet in length Plus can be extended on either side with side extensions adding an extra 30 cm x 70cm to the desk on either side. Additionally, this desktop can be raised and lowered thanks to the dual electric motors powering the height-adjustable legs which are controlled with an LCD controller with push button adjustments and memory presets. On the underside, there is a cable channel for keeping your setup tidy and cable-free which is an important addition for a good desk.
I’m in the market for a new desk and this one has without a doubt caught my eye. Corsair has not provided any pricing however it will be available from the Corsair Webstore and authorized retailers in Q4 2023 with a five year warranty.
