Corsair HS35 Stereo Multi-Format Gaming Headset Review

How Much Does it Cost?

Unfortunately, retail links aren’t available at the time of writing. However, it should appear on Amazon UK and Amazon US very soon. You can expect an MSRP of around $39.99, which will likely also be about £39.99. It’ll be available in Carbon, Blue, Green, or Red variants.

Overview

I love a good premium and flashy headset, and I mean… who doesn’t! But let’s be honest, that’s not always what is needed, nor is it always what can be afforded. At around £40, the Corsair HS35 is pretty wallet-friendly, and will certainly appeal to those on a tighter budget. Plus, it’s a friendly price for gift buying, getting for your kids and so on. I’ve tested so many headsets over the years I can’t even count them. However, for this kind of money, you’ll struggle to beat the value on offer here.

Performance

I think the drivers sound pretty decent. Nothing groundbreaking, but they don’t have to be either. They have plenty of low-end bass as well as plenty of volume when you need it. When it comes to listening to a bit of Netflix on your tablet, playing a bit of Overwatch on the Xbox, or listening to some tunes on your phone, they’re more than up to the job.

Build Quality

They are surprisingly well made for this price range. There are loads of import brands for the same price that look likely to fall apart before you order them. However cheap these are, they’re still a Corsair product and they have a reputation to uphold (and a warranty). The headset is lightweight but feels pretty tough too, so they’ll get no complaints from me.

Should I Buy One?

If you’re looking for a stylish headset with punchy drivers that won’t break the bank, the Corsair HS35 is right on the money!
