Corsair HS55 Wireless Core Gaming Headset Review

Corsair is one of the biggest, most loved and respected names in the world when it comes to gaming. They’ve won seemingly countless awards from us here at eTeknix over the last decade or so, and countless other media too, of course. And for good reason, they continue to dominate with a truly stunning range of hardware and peripherals for a wide range of users and budgets! Now they’re back again with their already superb HS55 series, but now it’s equipped with their class-leading wireless technologies, making it perfect for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and more beyond thanks to Bluetooth support.

Corsair HS55 Wireless Core

The Corsair HS55 Wireless Core is certainly well equipped. It features a pair of powerful 50mm drivers, which promise to deliver 20Hz – 20kHz response, with a 114dB sensitivity. Plus, the headset supports the latest Dolby Audio 7.1 surround sound processing on PC/Mac thanks to the Corsair iCUE software. There’s also a nice Omni-directional microphone, built-in controls, soft leatherette memory foam and more, making this one sweet setup. Of course, with low-latency 2.4GHz wireless via the included dongle or Bluetooth connectivity, you’ll be free from the burdens of cables too.

  • Low-Latency 2.4Ghz Wireless or Bluetooth Enjoy high-quality audio without the wire, featuring a range of up to 50ft plus Bluetooth support for mobile devices and more.
