The Corsair HX750 Platinium Power Supply is priced around £130-140 from most major retailers. That’s exceptional value for money, as some manufacturers are still selling 80 Plus Gold units for this price. While also an impressive unit, a comparable be quiet! Dark Power Pro is around £20 more.

Conclusion

One of the greatest power supplies I’ve ever tested. It’s that simple. The performance on this unit not only exceeded my expectations, it’s also showing improvements on previous units from Corsair. It’s also outperforming many similarly priced units, and the list goes on. In any respective class, it’s right at the top and that’s 1) fantastic news for Corsair and 2) awesome news for consumers.

While not the cheapest 750W unit on the market, it’s not the most expensive either. With fully modular cables, and 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, it’s ticking two major boxes for most consumers. Those who care about the gritty details are not left wanting either. This unit comes with class-leading build quality and components throughout. There’s a Single/Multiple rail voltage switch that’s handy for overclocking. The built-in fan is whisper quiet, and literally silent in most day-to-day load scenarios.

The things that impressed me most are those that your typical consumer just will not see. Of course, that’s why many of you read these reviews, because we can test the aspect you simply cannot at home. The ripple on the voltages is as low as I’ve ever seen. OF course, the voltage regulation, and the PFS, and the efficiency are all smooth and stable.
