Corsair Hydro Series H110 Liquid CPU Cooler Review

The unit as a whole is very sleek looking with its all-black finish and pristine radiator. The tubing utilised by Corsair is flexible rubber, which is excellent and the pump unit is a plain and simple Asetek pump unit embellished with a white Corsair logo. Note that this is not LED lit.

The Corsair H110 measures in at 29mm thick without fans installed. Its overall dimensions are 140mm by 312mm by 29mm.

As we mentioned in the introduction, the Corsair H110 uses 20mm fan spacing on the 280mm radiator so make sure you are fully aware of this, and whether your case will support this or not.

The pump is an Asetek base unit but with more than enough power to take advantage of this radiator. The white Corsair Logo is not LED lit so inside your case it will be only moderately visible.

The base is a beautifully finished copper cold plate with some pre-applied thermal paste. The pre-applied thermal paste is nice to see, but the kind of enthusiasts that will be using this product are likely to opt for something with much more quality – like Gelid GC-Extreme, my preferred thermal paste here at eTeknix.

The provided fans aren’t exactly Noctua quality, but they do come with fully braided cables, competitive acoustics, good airflow and a 4 pin PWM connection so you can control the speeds via your motherboard.

With the 25mm thick fans installed the width increases from 29mm to 54mm.

With the fans installed you can clearly see the effect of the 20mm fan spacing, with a slight gap in the middle. The overall aesthetic is sophisticated and clean, which I really like. If you are looking for a discreet cooling solution, then this is a very strong contender.
