Corsair iCUE 465X RGB Smart PC Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?
The Corsair iCUE 465X RGB Smart PC Case is available now. In the UK, you can expect prices of around £114.99, while in the US, it’ll be around $149.99. That’s not exactly cheap, but it’s hardly a bad deal either. Given the build quality, the lighting Node CORE, the RGB fans, etc, I think it’s very-much fairly priced.
Overview
Corsair continues to dominate when it comes to style and features in the PC market, and it’s easy to see why they’re such a big hit with consumers. Looking back through some of our more recent Corsair reviews, we see the same pattern. Check out the dual-chamber 680X, the beastly Obsidian 500D, The sleek 460X on which the 465X is based, and their more affordable stunner the iCUE 220T. Now Corsair can proudly add the iCUE 465X to their already impressive range.
Build Quality and Features
I’m gushing a little bit in this review, but credit where it’s due as far as I’m concerned. The Corsair iCUE 465X doesn’t reinvent the PC case. However, it puts forward best-known ideas and features that consumers really want. Durable build quality, premium materials and finishes, and plenty of style. The large dust filters, the PSU shroud, cable grommets, hidden drive mounts, RGB fans, tempered glass, vertical GPU mounting, impressive cooling support. The list goes on and on, and for little over £100, it’s a strong competition for anything else on the market today.
Gamers
For PC gaming builds, it’s going to really shine. Literally, when you fire up those RGB lights. Of course, the dual tempered glass windows help a lot. However, if you want to show off your new hardware, it’s perfect for the job. PC components are works of art these days, so the iCUE 465X works well as a showcase for those products too.
Should I Buy One?
There are cheaper tempered glass cases out there, many of which even come with RGB fans as standard. However, you do get what you pay for. This is a premium-priced product, but you’re getting good quality overall. Plus, Corsair’s premium ARGB fans and their RGB hub bundled together do make this decent value for those building their new gaming PC.
