Corsair iCUE LINK 3500X RGB Mid-Tower PC Case

A Closer Look – Exterior

Without a doubt, this is unmistakably a Corsair case, it has that DNA we’ve seen throughout all their products, with little details like the shape and design of their fans, the triangular cuts in the ventilation, and just a really clean and professional looking aesthetic overall.

Of course, it’s fair to say that while this is obviously an evolution of the series, it’s not exactly reinventing the PC case here, front and side tempered glass have been done extensively at this point, but it’s still a popular choice and looks great, so I’m certainly not complaining. Corsair has given this a nice premium look though, with full-height windows and a pillarless design on the front left corner for uninterrupted views of your hardware.

Down the right side of the case, there’s a focus on airflow, with room for three fans, or up to a 360mm AIO cooler. This is important, as the case has no front panel fan mounts, so it’s good to see there’s still plenty of airflow on offer.

Around the back, you’ll find the usual ATX layout, and there’s room for a 120mm fan at the top with elongated screw mounts so you can easily adjust the height to ensure compatibility with other components.

All of the expansion slot covers are metal, ventilated and reusable, with the screws mounted on the inside of the case rather than the exterior, giving it a much cleaner look overall.

The top of the case offers up a lot more ventilation too, allowing for passive heat exhaust, but also has mounts for three 120mm fans or again, another 360mm radiator, so you can definitely cram a lot of cooling in here.

The I/O panel is located on the top of the case near the front and has all the usual connections, but nothing too crazy here really.
