Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 240 RX RGB AIO Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Corsair is the leading name for high-end PC gaming hardware, with a range that spans seemingly every aspect of the PC ecosystem. While its range of AIO coolers has already proven a dominant force for PC gaming system builders, Corsair hasn’t stopped to rest on its past accomplishments. Now we have their latest evolution with the Corsair iCUE Link Titan 240 RX RGB, a powerful 240mm liquid cooler design for all major AMD and Intel sockets. However, while I think it’s fair to say that there’s rarely much performance difference between the big-name AIO coolers, but Corsair has been a bit more creative with their upgrades and innovations for the Titan.

Corsair Titan AIO

Being from Corsair, you know this is going to come with a bit of a price premium over much of the competition, but at the same time they’ve got a pretty solid reputation for class-leading build quality, designs and innovation, and I guess it’s the old saying of “you get what you pay for” really. But as I said, a 240mm radiator has its limitations, and I’m sure you can get similar performance from cheaper coolers, albeit with lower build quality and other compromises.

What Corsair Had to Say

“The CORSAIR iCUE LINK TITAN RX RGB delivers high-performance, ultra-quiet cooling with optimized thermal performance, streamlined iCUE LINK connectivity, and dynamic RGB lighting.” – Corsair

Hardware

Equipped with Corsairs’ powerful FlowDrive cooling engine and three-phase motors, as well as two of their high-end RX120 RGB fans, and of course, a 240mm radiator, the Titan has all the tools it needs to be one of the best AIO coolers we’ve tested. Of course, other sizes are available to suit your needs, but let’s get started with the smallest version in the new range.

Features

  • Extreme cooling performance with streamlined iCUE LINK connectivity
  • FlowDrive cooling engine with three-phase motor for peak thermal efficiency
  • Two high-performance RX120 RGB fans
  • 20 RGB LEDs on the pump plus eight per fan create dynamic lighting
  • Personalize your cooler with tool-free CapSwap modules (sold separately)

Optional Extras

It comes equipped with ARGB lighting, which is great, but Corsair has a wealth of optional extras and variants, allowing you to add custom tops, a VRM fan cooling solution, and even an LCD screen if that’s something you desire, albeit, it’s not a cheap optional extra. As you’ll see later in this review, it comes with some pretty unique customisation options too. Such as the pump, which has a swappable top so you can add VRM cooling, LCD screens and more.
