Performance
The cooling performance is pretty fantastic, keeping in mind this is the smaller 240mm, but it still holds up really well, delivering just 84c at full load on the i9 is great, especially given this CPU can go North of 100c if not kept in check, but the Titan makes light work of it.
Using my optimised settings, we got a nice performance boost from the overclocked and fixed speeds, but a lower voltage, resulting in temperatures of just 72c at full load, making it cool enough to outperform the larger Antec Vortex 360.
Acoustics are unsurprisingly excellent, but keep in mind that a lot of the “louder” coolers have a larger design with more fans. The Titan can run much cooler than this though, if you use a silent PWM profile it’ll be around 38 dBa at the cost of some thermal performance, but for the toasty i9, I think I’ll stick to the normal PWM profile.
Dropping the temperatures the noise levels dropped further though, with just 44 dBa, pretty much in-line with other quiet premium coolers such as the Noctua NH-U12A, and the be quiet! Pure Loop 2.
