Not to be left behind by G.SKILL in terms of delivering fast RAM, Corsair is also releasing a 4600MHz DDR4 memory kit. Although this time, Corsair is not going to put the fastest Samsung B-Die chips on their top of the line DDR4 Dominator GT. It is going to be on the mainstream Corsair Vengeance LPX memory series instead.
These DDR4-4600 Vengeance LPX will come in 16GB (2x8GB) kits, with CL19 26-26-46 timings at 1.5V. Obviously these are the XMP ratings, ideal for Intel systems so don’t expect to reach 4,600MHz with your Ryzen system.
Aside from the top-of the line 16GB 4600MHz Vengeance LPX, Corsair is also offering other kits that at 4000MHz and higher. This includes the 32GB (4x8GB) 4133MHz kit, 64GB (8x8GB) 4,200MHz kit, and 32GB (2x16GB) 4,000MHz kit. As for the highest capacity offering, they have a 128GB (8x16GB) Vengeance LPX running at 3,800MHz. All have comprehensive lifetime warranty, and world-wide technical support of course.
Hold on to your wallets because the top of the line 4,600MHz Vengeance LPX is not going to be cheap. It will be available starting September 21, 2017 with a $549.99 price tag. In case you can’t wait that long, a 4,500MHz 16GB (2x8GB) kit with tighter timings at CL19 19-19-39 @ 1.45V is available now for $479.99 USD.
