Gaming keyboards are a huge business, and Corsair makes many of the most popular models on the market today. While their K63 is technically nothing new, it’s a design which has been with us for a while; it’s just had a significant upgrade.
Wireless and gaming are words that often make the pros shudder, but 2018 is when all of that changes. The latest tech is super fast and responsive, with robust connection reliability. This means those concerns that were once a big problem are long in the past. Of course, if you’re keen to keep it wired, this keyboard will do that too. However, if you’re ready to kick back on the couch and play your favourite PC games on the big screen, it’ll go wireless when you need it to.
Featuring Bluetooth, 128-bit AES encryption, 2.4 GHz wireless technology, this keyboard is pretty slick. It’ll deliver a lightning fast 1ms response time, and with Cherry MX switches, it’s still the high-end mechanical gaming keyboard of your dreams.
“Experience ultimate gaming freedom with the CORSAIR K63 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, featuring ultra-fast 1ms 2.4GHz wireless technology with CHERRY MX mechanical key switches packed into a portable, tenkeyless design. Connect using ultra-fast 1ms 2.4GHz gaming-optimized wireless technology, low latency Bluetooth® wireless, or wired USB connection.” – Corsair
The packaging is excellent, showing a clear image of the keyboard, as well as extensive details on the specifications and capabilities of the keyboard. If you’re picking this up at a retail store, you can find out everything you need to know there and then.
In the box, you’ll find the keyboard (obviously), a detachable wrist rest, a USB cable, USB adapter and a wireless dongle.
All the cables and connectors are the usual high quality we would expect from Corsair. Enough of this stuff, let’s take a look at the keyboard!
