Corsair Lapdog Review

Introduction

Corsair Lapdog Review - Take Your Keyboard and Mouse to the Living Room!

I’m sure many of you enjoy gaming, in fact, I doubt you would be reading this very review if you didn’t take your gaming fairly seriously. PC gaming has been king of the desktop for decades, while consoles have been the primary focus for the living room. Of course, in recent years, that trend has been turning, as people build their own HTPC gaming systems (such as the Corsair Bulldog), steam boxes, stream their games to their TV and a whole host of other solutions that help you break away from your desk and see your glorious PC games on the biggest screen in your house, all while kicking your feet up on the couch. Of course, the only drawback here has been that for big screen gaming, you usually have to use a controller, and that too is a trend that is slowly changing.

While there’s nothing wrong with using a controller in many games, some of us prefer the versatility and accuracy that is provided by the classic keyboard and mouse combo, and that’s where Corsair comes in. Their new Lapdog is ready to help you take your keyboard and mouse to the living room, and while Corsair may not be the first to do such a thing, that doesn’t make this review any less interesting.

In the box, you’ll find a pretty freaking huge USB and power cable, as well as a mains adaptor (optional for USB charging capabilities), as well as an instruction manual to guide you through installing your peripherals to the Lapdog.
