Corsair Launches 4000MHz 32GB SO-DIMM DDR4 Kit

Corsair is introducing what is currently the world’s fastest DDR4 SO-DIMM kit. The Corsair Vengeance DDR4 line is now offering a 32GB kit with speeds of up to 4,000MHz. This provides laptops, NUCs, and small form-factor PCs with a much faster option than before. It especially works well with newer 7th and 8th generation Intel Coffee Lake CPUs, and supports XMP 2.0.

The 32GB kit is available in four SO-DIMM sticks. This also makes it ideal for ASRock’s X299 ITX/AC motherboard since it uses quad-channel DDR4 SO-DIMM memory. So far, only ASRock provides Intel HEDT users with a mini-ITX option.

The memory kit comes with a base SPD of 2400MHz with 16-16-16-39 timings at 1.2V. If on a system which can truly take advantage of its performance, the kit is capable of running at 4000MHz with 19-23-23-45 timings at 1.35V.

“While PC enthusiasts might be more familiar with SODIMM memory from laptops or all-in-one PCs, CORSAIR VENGEANCE SODIMM DDR4 4x8GB 4,000MHz is designed to power the latest small-form-factor systems running Intel’s high-end-desktop X299 motherboard platform,” says Corsair.

Pricing and Availability

The 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair Vengeance SO-DIMM DDR4 memory kit is available for €614.99 EUR. Available directly from Corsair’s website, or via online retailers carrying Corsair products. Like all Corsair memory products, it comes with a lifetime warranty.
