CORSAIR Launches iCUE LINK LX-R RGB Reverse Fans

Corsair has just announced the LX-R RGB Series, a new line of reverse-flow cooling fans designed to complement its high-performance LX RGB fans and acclaimed iCUE LINK ecosystem. I do find the Corsair lighting/cooling hardware to be a bit on the expensive side, but honestly, they’re quality and performance more than justify the investment.

Uncompromised Lighting and Performance

The LX-R Series addresses the community’s demand for a reverse flow fan that doesn’t obstruct lighting visibility, making it ideal for case or radiator intakes where traditional fan hubs and support arms can interfere. These fans deliver exceptional cooling performance without sacrificing aesthetics.

Features

  • Reverse Flow Design: Optimizes airflow and lighting visibility in intake configurations.
  • Brilliant RGB Lighting: 18 individually addressable RGB LEDs create stunning, customizable effects, including the iCUE LINK-exclusive Time Warp mode.
  • iCUE Software Control: Easily customize and synchronize lighting effects with other Corsair iCUE-compatible devices.
  • Powerful Cooling:
    • 140mm: Up to 2,000 RPM, 90.6 CFM airflow, 4.1 mm H₂O static pressure.
    • 120mm: Up to 2,400 RPM, 66.7 CFM airflow, 4.72 mm H₂O static pressure.
  • Available in Two Sizes and Colors: 120mm and 140mm, in black or white.
  • Easy Installation: 25mm thickness and QuikTurn screws for simplified installation.

iCUE LINK Ecosystem Integration

As part of the iCUE LINK ecosystem, the LX-R fans are available in multi-pack starter kits that include:

  • Three LX-R 120mm fans (or two 140mm fans)
  • Cables
  • iCUE LINK System Hub (controls up to 24 iCUE LINK devices)

With iCUE LINK, you can connect fans, AIO CPU coolers, Hydro X pumps and cold plates, and other compatible devices with minimal cable clutter. Each fan connects to the next using iCUE LINK connectors, requiring only one cable to the hub for every 12 devices. Single fan expansion kits will also be available for those looking to expand their system with more lighting and cooling.
