CORSAIR Launches Its Platform:6 Modular Computer Desk

A while back Corsair revealed its Platform:6 Modular Computer Desk and today they have officially launched it alongside its various modular pieces, unfortunately, it does come with a hefty price tag which I can’t say I wasn’t expecting.
CORSAIR Platform:6
The Platform:6 is a desk that prides itself on having a lot of modular options allowing users to extend the desk, mount a pegboard for various accessories, and a convenient rail system for monitor arms, mic arms or other items. The desk also comes with the option of a fixed or adjustable height with dual electric motors, as well as the option of several desktops with six-feet of space that can be expanded.
Pre-Configured Options
Corsair offers three pre-configured options for the Platform:6, which as of writing I can only access on the US site. The cheapest model is the standard which uses fixed legs, the black laminate 180cm x 76cm surface, in desk storage, modular T-Channel rail system, USB Type-A and Type-C Charging, a power strip and dual monitor arms. This model starts at $999.99 which isn’t great at all.
The next model is the Elevate at $1,399.99 which introduces the height adjustable legs for an added $400 and then the option of the rubberwood, dark walnut stain desktop, for an added $100 on top of that. Finally, the Creator Edition for $1,799.99 appears to introduce the pegboard portion of the desk.
I do really like the look of this desk but for that price, I cannot justify it at all.
