Corsair Launches ML Pro “Magnetic Levitation” RGB LED Fans

Corsair introduced their ML series magnetic levitation fans last year. This time they are upgrading it to a “pro” version, with RGB LED lighting. The ML Pro series comes in both 120mm and 140mm sizes. It features the same ultra-low firction magnetic levitation bearing as the ML series, producing higher airflow and lower noise than other bearing types. In fact, at 1600 RPM, the 120mm ML Pro fan only registers 25 dBA max.

Corsair ML Pro Series Features

Each multi-fan package comes with an RGB lighting hub, a Corsair Lighting Node Pro, fan mounting screws and mounting strips for the controllers. Users can also use Corsair Link v4.9.2.27 or higher to adjust the settings under Windows 7, 8.1 or 10. This allows for brightness, behaviour and color adjustment, plus RGB LED strip synchronization.

The 120mm version produces 47.3 CFM of airflow, and 1.78 mmH2O of static pressure. It uses a 4-pin PWM connector and has an operating speed range of 400 to 1600 RPM. The 140mm version on the other hand operates at 400 to 1200 RPM. At max speed, it produces 55.4 CFM and 1.27 mmH20 static pressure at 20.4dBA. Both come with a five-year warranty coverage.

Pricing Information

The 120mm version is available as a single fan for $34.99 or a s a triple-fan pack for $119.99 USD. The 140mm ML Pro by itself costs $39.99, while a twin-pack version is also available for $99.99.
