Corsair Launches New RS MAX Series Fans

Corsair already has the enthusiast market taken care of, with one of the most comprehensive and well-loved ranges of PC hardware products on the market today. However, while they already have some exceptional fans, there’s always room for something a little better, and that’s where their new 30mm thick PC cooling fans come into play.

The new Corsair RS MAX series features a more durable Liquid Crystal Polymer material design, allowing for a larger fan blade bolstered by their AirGuide technology. The fans are thicker than usual, at 30mm compared to the usual 25mm we have all been using for many years now. This design allows for a more powerful fan, thicker and stronger fan blades, and can allow for higher RPM operation, and also a higher static pressure, making them very appealing for use on cooling radiators.

The RS MAX Series connects with a simple 4-pin PWM header, enabling precise adjustment over fan speeds without the need for a separate controller, and while thicker, they should still be largely compatible with most coolers and cases.

RS120 MAX 120mm PWM Thick Fans – Triple Pack

Maximize your cooling efficiency with the CORSAIR RS120 MAX PWM Thick Fans Triple Pack, boasting 3x 30mm-thick fans for very high static pressure with premium liquid crystal polymer construction.

  • 5mm Thicker than standard fans for greater cooling performance
  • PWM-controlled speeds up to 2,000 RPM
  • Premium Liquid Crystal Polymer construction
  • AirGuide technology for concentrated cooling
  • Magnetic dome bearing for minimal noise

With a 20% increase in thickness over standard fans, the RS MAX Series can spin at a lower speed to generate the same airflow as its thinner counterparts – translating into lower overall fan noise. For enthusiasts who push their systems to the limit, the high static pressure created by the RS MAX’s larger fan blade helps power airflow through obstructions and dense radiators, making it an ideal choice for high-performance liquid cooling setups.

Corsair Magnetic Dome bearings – an evolution of the acclaimed magnetic levitation bearing – significantly reduce friction for both enhanced longevity and quieter operation. For PC builders looking to boost performance without boosting noise, the RS MAX Series will help push your system to the max.

Availability and Pricing

The Corsair RS MAX Series is available now in 120 mm and 140 mm sizes from the Corsair webstore and the Corsair worldwide network of authorized retailers and distributors.

The RS MAX Series is backed by a five-year warranty, alongside the Corsair worldwide customer service and technical support network.
