Corsair has another set of RGB LED fans to add to their lineup called the LL series. Although the product page is not up yet, it appears that retailers have already begun selling them. Corsair already has the SP and HD series RGB LED fans. However, the new LL series are much more affordable and work via a hardware controller. Inside each fan are 16 independent RGB LEDs, split between two separate light loops. It is controllable via the included Corsair Lighting Node PRO, which also lets users connect other Corsair Link supported devices.
The LL series comes in 120mm or 140mm sizes, both of which use hydraulic dynamic bearing for longer life and quieter operation. The LL120 operates via PWM from 600 to 1500 RPM, and generates 43.25CFM and 24.8 dBA at max speed. The LL140 fan on the other hand, has an RPM range of 600 to 1300 RPM, producing 51.5 CFM at 25 dBA.
US online retailer NewEgg.com has both the LL120 and LL140 fans listed online. The LL140 is available as a single unit for $39.99 USD and it includes only the fan and four mounting screws per-package.
However, the LL120 is available as a 3-pack for $119.99. Inside each package includes three fans, 1x RGB lighting hub, 1x Corsair Lighting Node PRO, 12x mounting screws and 2x mounting strips for the Lighting Node Pro.
