How Much Does it Cost?

The Corsair M75 Air Wireless Gaming Mouse is available from today, so expect the stock to appear any time now at big-name retailers. It’s not cheap though, with an MSRP of £149.99 in the US, 149.99 EUR in Europe, and £139.99 in the UK. However, keep in mind you’re getting one of the most advanced gaming optical sensors on the market in this mouse, among many other things, and when it comes down to it, you’re getting what you pay for.

Overview

Corsair has long been one of the absolute best in the business for high-end gaming peripherals, and that certainly isn’t changing any time soon. The Corsair M75 Air is about as good as a mouse can get right now, however, if I was to say it was the best, that would be somewhat subjective.

If you’re looking for a lightweight mouse, this is easily one of the lightest on the market, which is impressive as they have a full body design rather than one of those mesh/honeycomb designs. Furthermore, the weight shedding hasn’t impacted the quality at all, it still feels robust, and it doesn’t flex under the weight of my hand or when I squeeze it… it’s just very light.

Despite the weight being so low, it still packs a huge amount of features too. Such as being fully wireless via a 2.4GHz dongle, it has Bluetooth, and it has USB-C connectivity and charging too. Even more impressive is that it’s good for around 100 hours of gaming between charges!

Yet all that isn’t the most impressive aspect of the Corsair M75 Air, as that comes down to both the sensor and the switches. The Corsair MARKSMAN sensor is the most advanced sensor I’ve tested to date, an ultra-precise optical sensor that can be fine-tuned in 1DPI increments all the way up to 26K DPI! I never found I needed to go about 8000 DPI personally, but it’s nice to have options. The optical switches feel superb, with a very satisfying tactile and auditory click that’s fast and light, and they’re good for 100M clicks too, so they’re unlikely to wear out for years.

Should I Buy One?

Well, that is tricky, as in every respect, this mouse is absolutely brilliant. It’s one of the best mice I’ve ever used, with performance that’s equal to or better than anything else on the market. However, it does come in at quite a steep price, and if you want the best of the best, then this is what it costs. If you just want a lightweight or wireless mouse, there are cheaper options out there. But if you want a ridiculously good sensor, precision clicks, and impressive connectivity and battery life too, it’s well worth the extra investment.
