Over the years, Corsair has created many of my favourite high-end gaming mice, such as the M65, The Scimitar, and the Dark Core, and honestly, the list is easily going to be in the double digits. I’ve reviewed so many over the last 11+ years and even owned a fair few of them myself too, and they have never disappointed. So when I heard I had the new Corsair M75 Air coming in for review, I was eager to literally get my hands on it and see what it could do. Now, it’s not an overly different gaming mouse, it ticks all the common boxes in terms of features, but at £139.99 it’s obviously a premium mouse, and I’m eager to see what you get for such a big investment.
Corsair has designed this to be a light, fast and nimble mouse that’s sure to appeal to the FPS-loving gamers out there. It weighs just 60 grams, making it one of the lightest mice on the market today. It should be extremely accurate too, with an incredible 26,000 DPI optical sensor that can track at 650 IPS and with 50G acceleration, making it the most advanced sensor I’ve ever tested! There are Corsair QUICKSTRIKE buttons too, which have a zero delay click response due to no pre-travel or post-travel on the actuation. If that’s not enough, the Optical switches are rated for 100m clicks, which is again more than I’ve ever seen on a mouse. And since Corsair leads with their connectivity technologies, you’ll also find their award-winning Slipstream Wireless, with sub 1ms wireless connectivity, as well as Bluetooth and Type-C USB, so you can game your way!
