Over Power Protection and Max Wattage

The Corsair SF750 already impresses in the fact that such a small power supply can produce 750 watts of power. It is, however, always part of our testing to see how far this can be pushed. Not only because it’s fun to see the numbers whir up, but also to make sure that the overpower protections work.

In this regard, we can confirm that they did work, but not only that, the Corsair SF750 was capable of producing another 247.6 watts of power before the protections came into effect.

When you consider that this is over 30% of the base wattage cited on the box, this is very impressive. If you did, therefore, need to squeeze a little more out of this, you would not find this power supply wanting!
