Corsair Spec-04 Mid-Tower Gaming Chassis Review

Corsair Spec-04

Corsair is well-known for their high-end chassis designs. Of course, those big and fancy chassis also come with the price tag to match, putting them out of reach and out of budget for many consumers. Thankfully, Corsair also makes a solid range of affordable products too. We kick things off today with a look at their modestly priced Spec-04. This affordable chassis comes packed full of features at a low price, making it appealing to those building or upgrading a gaming system on a tighter budget.

Angular Exterior Design

The asymmetrical, hard-edged design brings bold styling to your build.

Cable Routing

Hide your cables behind the motherboard tray to keep your build looking tidy and out of the airflow path for improved cooling.

Supports 5 x 120mm Fans

Excellent cooling potential with one 120mm LED front fan pre-installed.

Storage

Three HDD and two SSD drive cages are easy to install and keep your system and cables looking clean.

I/O Panel

Featuring a high-speed USB 3.0 port and additional ports for all modern connections.

Dust Filter

A clean case keeps your components cooler and running longer.

Specifications

The chassis comes in three variants; black with grey highlights, black with red and black with yellow. It’s fairly compact, but still supports an ATX PSU, ATX motherboard, and there’s plenty of room for a large graphics card or two as well. There’s room for up to 5 x 120mm fans, however, only a single LED fan comes pre-installed in the front. Of course, it also comes with Corsair’s standard 2-year warranty.
