Recently, I’ve noticed a lot of PSUs in this class benching well above their weight, and the latest from Corsair is no exception. Typically, I would expect a PSU of this calibre to pull around 950W at the most before shutting down. The Corsair unit peaked at 1102 before the OPP kicked in, which is pretty nuts, to say the least. Power spikes while gaming? They’re not going to slow this unit down.
