Corsair Vengeance C70 Mid-Tower Gaming Chassis Review

I’ve really enjoyed this chassis, it was easily on of the most pain free builds I’ve done yet, thanks to its quick release side panels, you can get very quick and easy access to the interior without ever having to fumble with screws around the back of the chassis, the quick release drive bays speed up drive installation and the oversized cable management cut-outs and excellent routing options in the rear of the case mean you’re never fighting for space when it comes to connecting your devices. I was albe to have this system complete within 30 minutes, but I was able to strip it back down again in less than 10.
Everything on this case is as heavy duty feeling as its appearance implies, yet thanks to the extra attention to quality given to this chassis by Corsair, it still maintains a sleek finish throughout, with absolutely no rough edges, squeaky panels, ratting components or anything that feels like its going to break, this is one tough case. It’s fairly heavy too, by the time you’ve fitted a full system in here, if you were to add a few more hard drives and a more extensive water cooling system, you’re really going to appreciate the durable carry handles on the top when you’re lugging it to a LAN event.
The style of this chassis really is fantastic, while I agree its not to everyone’s taste, I think it looks fantastic, the military green really makes it stand out compared to the black or white cases we usually see, but of course this case is also available in black or white. Colour aside its the uncompromising military design that makes this case special.
Currently on the market for around £120 this isn’t exactly a cheap chassis, but it does so much to justify its cost, its practical for both installations and mobility, it has superb cooling options, with room for an extra 7 fans, or water cooling radiators, plenty of space to handle a multi-GPU setup, fantastic build quality and a unique style, so taking all that into consideration, £120 sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
Corsair really have hit on exactly what gamers want with this case and they’ve delivered the goods with unwavering quality at a price that isn’t completely out of this world. I enjoyed working with this case so much that I’ve gone and got one for my self, meaning the Corsair Vengeance C70 Gaming Chassis truly is the editors choice.
