Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 1866MHz 16GB Memory Kit Review

Testing Procedure

Methods

In our memory reviews we keep things relatively simple. We load in the memory kit that is being tested onto our test system and we benchmark it at its primary XMP profile using AIDA 64 and CPU-Z for validation. Once complete we then overclock the kit to see how far we can push it, then benchmark it again using the same combination of AIDA 64 and CPU-Z.

  1. They do seem rather decent but it’s been a long time since I seriously tested RAM. I’m still stuck at 1866 MHz myself due to the fact that I just apply the XMP profile on my personal rig. Nothing else.

      1. Old or new the performance should essentially be the same so no need to rush out and buy this kit. If you want more memory, just add a further 2 modules (assuming you can still get the older kit which I’m sure you can).

  2. i want some!! Let me test out for your you and Ill send it right back!!! Hmmmm LOL Corsair is a leader would buy anything from them !
