Corsair warns of potential issues with H100 fan controllers

Corsair has started to remove the H100 from many retail stores and e-tailers due to a technical issue with a large batch of H100 water cooling units.  The issue is very minor though before any H100 owners start to get concerned: when pushing the fan profile select button on the faulty H100 nothing actually happens meaning the fans can never be changed from their default speed settings to a higher or lower setting. All of the affected units come from batch #11359403 so if you check your retail box and find this number then you probably have an affected unit. Corsair has a plan of action to deal with affected units which can be read here and if the problem cannot be fixed by the instructed firmware reset then you can return your H100 free of charge for a replacement unit at Corsair’s expense.  The issue is certainly very minor and this incident just goes to show the high quality standards Corsair uphold and the excellent post sales customer service program they offer.
