Corsair are unleashing a pile of new products today, with the announcment of three new headsets, two new keyboards and two new mice, all in their new Vengeance Gaming Series.
For the headsets we have the Vengeance 1500, Vengeance 1300 and the Vengeance 1100, in the keyboards we have the Vengeance K60 and the Vengeance K90 as for the mice we have the Vengeance M60 and Vengeance M90.
“The award-winning Corsair Gaming Series audio products have built a reputation for providing accurate, detailed audio that makes everything from games to music and movies a joy to listen to, as well as creating the situational awareness gamers need for a competitive advantage,” said Andy Paul, Corsair’s President and CEO. “Our new Vengeance gaming headsets continue that tradition. Everything from the sleek design and the careful choice of materials, to the obsessive focus on audio tuning is dedicated to the goal of providing a compelling experience for PC gamers who are as passionate about sound as they are about winning.”
“We’re gamers, too. Our Vengeance gaming headsets reflect our desire to build the products we want to use and can’t find anywhere else,” said Ruben Mookerjee, VP and General Manager of the Components Business Unit at Corsair. “No matter what style of game you play, from FPS to MMO or RTS, you need clear, reliable voice communication, a comfortable design you can wear for hours, and fantastic audio quality. We believe the new Vengeance gaming headsets deliver on every one of these.”
Vengeance 1500 Dolby 7.1 and Vengeance 1300 Analog Gaming Headsets
Both employing circumaural, closed-back earpad designs for immersive audio and long-term comfort, they also feature custom engineered 50mm drivers carefully tuned for precise sound and accurate 3D positional audio reproduction, all of which will allow for enjoyable sounds and better gaming.
Also including a high-quality noise cancelling cardioids microphone, they produce clear voice free of any noise.
While the 1500 connects through the USB and delivers 7.1 and 5.1 Dolby Headphone positional audio, the 1300 needs to be paired with a high-end soundcard through the 3.5mm headphone and microphone to be able to deliver its full potential.
Vengeance 1100 Communication Headset
Using a behind-the-head design, unlike the more high-end, this lightweight gaming headset still delivers what you need, using either the 3.5mm analog or USB connectors, the 1100 features 40mm drivers to deliver amazing audio quality and is coupled with a high-sensitivity noise-cancelling cardioids microphone for clear voice communication.
Vengeance K60 Performance FPS Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
With an aluminium body for strength and durability, the K60 specializes in First-Person-Shooters (FPS), with a left wrist rest for extended gaming sessions and specially shaped and textured WASD keys as well as 1-6 numeric for better gaming performances. They can also be changed to their usual black if you’re more ‘old-school’.
Featuring a linear response and the light touch of Cherry MX Red mechanical key switches, and a non-limited key rollover changed from USB-standard limited 6 to a full 20-key rollover, a response time of 1ms and an advanced key matrix designed for complete anti-ghosting. One thing is certain, you won’t miss your shots with this.
Vengeance K90 Performance MMO Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
More dedicated to MMO and RTS gamers, in addition to the same features found on the K60, including Cherry MX Red key switches, anti-ghosting, 20-key rollover, 1ms response as well as the aluminium body, each of the K90’s keys are backlit with a blue LED adjustable to three different levels of brightness.
Equipped with 18 dedicated macro keys, the gamer can either program them on the fly or through the Vengeance software and divided into three profiles for total of 54 independent macro keys. All of these are stored in an incorporated flash memory, avoiding the need to reprogram when switching computers.
Vengeance M60 Performance FPS Laser Gaming Mouse
Similarly to the keyboard, the mice are divided into FPS and MMO as well as featuring an aluminium body.
Equipped with an enthusiast-grade Avago 5670DPI sensor with the ability to switch resolutions on the fly, the M60 also features adjustable center of gravity, programmable lift detection, a high-mass scroll wheel, and PTFE glide pads.
To appeal even more to FPS, a Sniper button is present, which can be seen on the left side and allows for an instant change from fast movement on high DPI resolution down to a precision mode for highly accurate aiming.
Vengeance M90 Performance MMO and RTS Laser Gaming Mouse
Just like the keyboards, the M90 principally has the same features as the M60, but being dedicated to MMO and RTS gamers, it lacks the Sniper button and replaces it with 15 fully programmable, intuitively positioned buttons with six profiles all loaded on an incorporated flash memory.
The easy-to-use Windows-based Vengeance software allows for quick and easy profile settings modifications, each programmed to the gamer’s specific gaming style.
