Corsair’s MP600 PRO XT M.2 NVMe SSDs are Built For Speed!

Corsair is well known for their high-end hardware, from gaming keyboards to memory, they’ve got a little bit of everything really. However, one of my favourites has to be their SSDs, which often blend kick-ass designs, with relentless high-end performance. Thankfully, their latest product is no exception. Today, Corsair announced the launch of a new Gen4 PCIe x4 NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive – the MP600 PRO XT. This high-end drive will be available in capacities of (up to) 4 TB!

The MP600 PRO XT is built to appeal to high-end gaming PC and workstation builds. If you’re tired of loading screens, slow-loading applications, or slouching transfer speeds, this is your ticket to more free time. Plus, it comes with a sexy and rather significant built-in heatsink, ensuring it can deliver its top performance all of the time.

Performance

The MP600 PRO XT boasts read speeds of 7,100 MB/sec and 6,800 MB/sec sequential write speeds (performance and endurance vary by capacity), as well as more than one million input/output operations per second (IOPS). That’s enough to leave a LOT of other drives in its dust. This is done thanks to the use of high-density 3D TLC NAND, combined with the latest PCIe Gen4 technology. Of course, you’ll need a compatible motherboard/CPU to reach those speeds though. However, it will work with PCIe Gen3 interfaces, but at a reduced speed, of course.

Cooling

The high surface area of the heat spreader will certainly help improve the drive’s performance. However, I love that Corsair has given it a stylish look too, as so many of us love to show off our builds. The MP600 PRO XT is also compatible with the CORSAIR Hydro X Series XM2 Water Block (sold separately), enabling you to integrate your SSD in a custom cooling loop to achieve even lower temperatures and maximize performance.

Toolbox

Like all CORSAIR SSDs, the MP600 PRO XT is supported by free CORSAIR SSD Toolbox software, enabling convenient features such as secure erase and firmware updates directly from your desktop. With a five-year warranty for extended peace of mind that your storage will remain fast and reliable, the MP600 PRO XT takes full advantage of PCIe Gen4 technology for extreme M.2 performance.

Availability, Warranty, and Pricing

The CORSAIR MP600 PRO XT Gen4 PCIe x4 NVMe M.2 SSD is available immediately from the CORSAIR webstore and the CORSAIR worldwide network of authorized retailers and distributors. The MP600 PRO XT is backed by a five-year warranty, alongside the CORSAIR worldwide customer service and technical support network. For up-to-date pricing of the MP600 PRO XT, please refer to the CORSAIR website.
