Exterior Packaging
The front of the packaging provides you with a nice and large image of the Cougar AQUA 240 front and centre in action. While it is a little light on technically details, let’s be honest, if you’re buying an AIO one of the first things you want to know about is the aesthetics and Cougar certainly makes that abundantly clear here!
Don’t worry about details though, the rear of the packaging provides you with information on all the key features with each coming with a well-sized and friendly on the eye picture. In addition, the sides of the packaging provide you with all the other useful details you may wish to know including the full specifications and dimensions. – All of the information on the packaging is exceptionally well presented and Cougar has definitely got things off to a great start here!
Accessories!
The Cougar Aqua 240 is provided with all of the accessories you need in order to easily install this to your system. While some parts are contained in ‘generic’ bags (as many socket types can be fairly similar), other aspects more specific to particular socket types have been placed in separate bags to help ensure you correctly identify and only unpackage the bits you specifically need!
In terms of the RGB, while the Cougar Aqua 240 is fully ARGB sync compatible with motherboards, Cougar does provide you with a manual remote control which is always nice to see. Many AIO designs come with manual controllers, but more often than not, they’re designed to be encased within the PC chassis and as such, if you don’t have a suitable motherboard, changing the lighting effects can often be a chore rather than a pleasure.
With this easy-to-use remote control, however, the simple push of very clearly indicated buttons allows you to quickly and effortlessly set the RGB to the pump head exactly as you want it!
